Memphis Heel Fully Fashioned Bronze Nylon Stockings
Glamorous diamonds are the inspiration for these bronze fully fashioned seamed stockings. Their design harks back to a more glamorous time and are perfect to recreate that authentic 1950's look.
The Memphis Heel is a sophisticated and intricate design that combines both the French and Cuban heel. It is similar to the Cuban heel but with a pointed head similar to the French heel with an intricate outline diamond shadow that follows around the entire heel and foot. This unique design gives the Memphis that extra special touch of class and means they are very difficult to produce. So fully fashioned Memphis heel stockings can be quite difficult to find.
These Memphis heel stockings has been sewn together individually at the back and have a keyhole (finishing loop) at the top of the stocking welt. The double thickness welt is best paired with garters that have at least six straps, to keep the stockings looking their best.
The Memphis heel is an original 1950s design, with a twist, that was produced using the same vintage Reading knitting machines that are being used to make these glamorous seamed nylons. They are perfect to recreate a truly authentic vintage look and feel.
Authentic Fully Fashioned stockings are made from 15 denier nylon and do not stretch, so please choose your size carefully. There are available from an extra small to a tall size, so you can get a perfect fit.
